Fun Fact: The bird in our logo is one of our African Grey Parrots, Dolly.

Our avian admiration began with Chloe, a Cockatiel. From there we migrated to larger birds and how time flew! Before we knew, we had Dolly Sue, Gracie Lou, and Wiki Woo. They, along with our four cats, our dog, and of course our horse, have made our home the Koo-Ba-Lee Zoo™.

INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

The safety of your bird is extremely important to us and we wouldn't sell you anything that we don't give to our own birds. That is why all of our toys are made with only bird-safe materials. The materials we use include untreated pine and poplar, human grade food coloring, nickel plated chain and clips, plastic beads, aluminum wire, coconut shells, sisel rope and raffia. We do NOT use any zinc plated parts. We cut, color, and assemble all toys by hand ourselves right here in our home work shop in Wisconsin. All of our toys are made and assembled in our workshop which is completely separate from our living quarters. We feel very strongly about safe toys, since people's birds are part of their family we want to ensure as much safety as possible.

OUR FLOCK

Here at the Koo-Ba-Lee Zoo™, we are fortunate to have so many loving animals that live in harmony together. They are always up to something that makes us laugh. They are always in our thoughts and are the inspiration for the names of our toys. All of our toys are named after animals we currently have, have had, or have fallen in love with along the way.

SAFETY REMINDERS FOR YOUR BIRD

We test all of our toys on our own birds to ensure they are safe. Please be sure to always supervise your birds while they play with their toys. Make sure to keep your bird's beak and nails trimmed to avoid injury while playing with toys. Make sure all toys are securely attached to play stand or cage. Be sure that your bird is not eating any of the toy parts. For safety purposes, remember to discard any soiled or broken toy parts. Remember that any toy can be potentially dangerous, causing injury or death to your bird, please use as intended and under direct supervision. These are not children's toys and should be kept out of the reach of children.
